thyme api-url

Print the resolved Thyme Cloud API URL and its source. Use it to confirm which endpoint the CLI will talk to before you login or upload.

Usage

thyme api-url

Output

The command prints the resolved URL plus its source, one of:

SourceMeaning
envTaken from the THYME_API_URL environment variable.
configTaken from apiUrl in ~/.thyme/config.json.
defaultFalling back to the CLI's built-in default.

Precedence

The URL is resolved in this order — the first source that's set wins:

  1. THYME_API_URL environment variable
  2. apiUrl in ~/.thyme/config.json
  3. the built-in default

Override the stored value during login with --api-url <url> or --rewrite-api-url. See Configuration & Environment.

Examples

thyme api-url

Behavior notes

  • api-url loads root .env before reporting resolution. Management commands do not load that file themselves, so export THYME_API_URL when you want identical endpoint selection across commands.
  • The command does not change saved configuration.
